FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Can I request for early check in?
A: While we cannot guarantee this, we can let you check-in as early as 12:00 noon if the room is already available. However, we will only know the availability of early check in on the day itself. If the room is not available, regular check-in time is at 2:30pm.
Q: Can I come earlier than the stated 2:30pm check-in time to use the facilities?
A: Yes, guests may arrive as early as 10:30am to use the facilities (pools, hiking trails, adventure park). We ask that guests leave their baggage and valuables in their vehicles prior to check-in.
Q: What time is the latest I can check-in?
A: Our check-in desk closes at 6:00pm. Please call us if you are arriving after 6:00pm.
Q: Can I request late check-out past the 11:30am time indicated?
A: While we cannot guarantee a late check-out, guests may check out as late as 12:30pm if there is no incoming guest using the room, otherwise check out is at 11:30am.
Q: Is there a security deposit collected at The Duyan House?
A: A refundable security deposit of Php1000 shall be collected in cash upon check-in which covers breakages and loss of keys and towels. The full amount shall be refunded to guests upon check-out.
Q: Do the rooms have kitchens?
A: The rooms do not have cooking facilities. We don’t allow cooking or heating of food in our rooms as this is a fire-hazard in the rainforest environment. All our Villa rooms have refrigerators. We do have common BBQ facilities for guests use (please bring your own grilling utensils), and we can heat up cooked food in our own kitchen for a small fee.
Q: Can I bring food & drinks?
A: Yes cooked food and drinks may be brought and consumed at The Duyan House
Q: Are there restaurants in the Resort? Do you have and ATM machines and do you accept credit cards?
A: The Duyan Cafe is open from 8:00am to 7:00pm and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We currently do not have ATM machines onsite. The Duyan House accepts payment via cash, credit card, debit card, online bank transfer and Gcash only.
Q: What are your extra bed fees, child rates & policies?
A: Children between the ages of 4-8 years sharing a bed with an adult is charged at Php700.00 inclusive of breakfast. Children 9 years old and above considered adults and will be charged adult rates as an extra guest. Our extra bed fees depend on the room being booked. Q: Is there a 24hr front desk? Is the pool open 24hrs?
A: Our front desk closes at 7:00pm. Contact numbers of staff for queries after this time will be provided upon check-in. The infinity pool which is very close to the Duyan House opens at 7:00am and closes at 9:00pm. We recommend that guests bring their own swim towels as these are not provided.
Q: Are there drivers quarters?
A: Yes we have drivers quarters available at Php1,000 with breakfast. Please email us for requirements.
Q: Are pets allowed at The Duyan House?
A: We are pet-friendly and charge a daily fee of Php500 for pets up to 15lbs. and P1,000 for pets in excess of 15lbs.
Q: Is parking free?
A: Yes we have free on-site parking available at The Duyan House.
